Kingsfisher was struggling to appeal to women in India as Beer was heavily positioned as a masculine drink and women were not appealed by it at all and they were losing market share to spirit drinks. The global beer brand commissioned DMA Branding agency in Mumbai to market beer as a female friendly drink. Due to the similarities of Mexican and Indian culture, I collaborated with the Indian Branding agency to translate the research insights into a creative strategy for a line of beer that would be appealing to women. We were given the subbrand name Buzz and were asked to come up with naming for three different flavors and translate the marketing strategy into three distinctive creative routes. The new packaging design routes were; unpretentious, leisurely and fancy. And the one of the sub-brands was Confident Cola portrayed below.
